The Walls Won't Win

Berlin, where the streets are paved with women and the women are paved with gold.

The majority of our time in Germany was consumed by the various delights of Dessau provided by our wonderful host Alex. This included, but was not limitied to, going to a handful of hilarious parties and chatting with wonderful Germans all night long, staying up till about 6 AM every night and completely destroying daylight with deep slumber, whipping it going 180 MPH on the Autobahn in an Audi A8, and making a pizza delivery guy walk up six flights of stairs without any tip.

After all of this was through we said our goodbyes and got on a morning train to Berlin, where we had planned to stay one night in a hostel and one night in a train station. Everything pretty much went according to plan except that we ended up staying in an airport as opposed to the train station.

People died trying to cross that wall because they had cool shit like this on the other side.

The two days we did spend in Berlin were incredibly well spent, we gawked at the incredible monuments, attended an Anonymous vs. Scientology raid protest, walked many miles in search of shoe stores, and generally consumed the intoxicating wonder of Berlin. Adam had his camera handy and he was shooting videos all day, so I put this little number together.

We will be somewhere else on Thursday.

I'm trying to convince myself that all that shit wouldn't be so cool if it didn't have music to it haha.
In any case, videos are a good idea - if you guys were feeling particularly productive you could include a video in each post, which would be awesome

My entire life has a soundtrack, I'm just the only one who can hear it.

Thanks again for the vicarious thrills.

Couldn't have picked a better song.

You guys don't know shit about the Berlin Wall. It came down on my first birthday.

FUCK YOU SCIENTOLOGY.
Oh, and your video could use some more panoramas. The walking through the big blocks was tight though. Brendan's narcissistic video editing, less tight.

why does everyone write the word "first" if they are the first one to post? doesn't the chronological listing of the comments, along with the time and date of the post, inform us of who posted first? (not a stab at kelly...just general question)

i love the video. love the song. its amazing. i like how all of the germans think you are going to take a picture so they huddle or hold up and bottle...and then pose for a while. brendan, the facial extravaganza is looking astonishingly gorgeous. i love it. glad to hear all is swell as usual. you guys are kings. love

anonymous...can you please leave comments everyday without signing in or leaving a legitimate name?

oh and...last!

Nice Stuff. I can really relate to the wish to tear down a wall. Right now there is a 4 foot wall of snow and ice separating the Music & Games from Main Street. However inconvenient that ice berm may be to shoppers, it does not appear to slow down punks with runny noses wanting to sell old PS2 sport titles. -JP

2 posts, take that!

Clayton, if it were The Game it would be spouting the names of other rappers endlessly and making tired metaphors about '64 Impalas.
